Made in Nirvana, made with love ... From Amazon Client on 30th January 2016 Format: Soft cover When reading the novel it is hard to believe that it is the author’s 'first work’! Cooper’s great literary talent catapults us into a far away world (India) which becomes incredibly close thanks to the author’s literary ability, who narrates the exciting story of two girls looking for their identities. Between trips, adventures, stories and emotions the main character, accompanied by a friend, is lucky enough to meet herself, while discovering at the same time a Buddhist practice, which is as deep as it is revolutionary. Every single page of Made in Nirvana stays with you and it can make you dream as if you were the protagonist of this journey! |
AuthorBorn in Treviso on the 18th November 1953, Emanuela Cooper studies foreign languages at the College for Tourism in Venice and later Political Science at Padua University. Following a rather extreme existential crisis, towards the end of the 70s, she decides to travel to India ‘to have a look’ and, with any luck, find herself. Made in Nirvana is inspired by the first two trips to India, where Emanuela Cooper returns many times, living there for six years. A big part of the story of Made in Nirvana is based on her personal experience, while the other part is fruit of her vivid imagination. What may appear as invented has probably really happened, and vice versa! Archives
