MADE IN NIRVANA
Thank you Van Gogh
The train arrived at the Gare de Lyon as the sun was setting. As she walked slowly toward the exit Maria looked around the crowd, and finally recognized Sylvan, with his shoulder-length blond curly hair, standing next to Eve, waving her arm in the air. They embraced tightly, memories of the days spent together in Kathmandu vivid as if it were yesterday. Outside the large station a rather beaten-up pale blue 'deux chevaux' was waiting for them; the driver was their father.
And finally she saw him. He wore blue jeans and a black leather jacket; in his hand he held a motorcycle helmet. He hadn't seen her yet. His hair was longer than when they were in Varanasi and he walked in that particular way, as if he had springs under his feet. He was approaching quickly toward the cathedral's main entrance, looking left and right. Maria stood up and he saw her.
